WEST END GAMES

“We had to adapt to survive!”

West End Games started life as a board gaming café in Glasgow. When the pandemic hit it through the entire business model into turmoil. As other stores in the industry battled the restrictions, West End Games adapted into a digital trading platform and online community. Revolutionising its social media presence and pioneering an online home shopping channel the business was able to navigate the treacherous times of the pandemic.

Building on this success they were able to reopen in a new location with a more sustainable plan for the future - building a more stable base on the online presence they had been able to cultivate following the closure of their initial store.

“We needed an adult!”

Saikou Apparel was built off the back of a YouTube channel who wanted to diversify their income streams and build a brand that could outlive their tenure as an internet celebrity; but had no idea how to start achieving this.

We developed a website, established supply chains and employed business coaching to develop a product and build a team that could achieve these goals. Extensive brand development and consumer research ensured we could reach the desired customers in a cost effective manner and with a tone of voice and product suite that would resonate with them.

Saikou was launched mid pandemic 2020 and goes on to work with designers and content creators to deliver bespoke and eccentric Japanese inspired apparel.

SAIKOU APPAREL

“I finally met someone who saw what I see in my business!”

The Hurley Ceol is a bespoke instrument hand-crafted in Dublin, Ireland. I had the pleasure of meeting its creator on a whim in an Irish airport where I instantly fell in love with his story and his product! He has been building them ad hoc for tourists around the city but had no idea how to help his product reach its potential.

Together we developed an ecommerce website, built confidence using and a presence on social media and used these tools to organically spread the message of the unique instrument.

Hurley Ceol was debuted to the world at the 2024 Celtic Connections festival.

HAIR AND MAKE UP DEPT

“I feel like I can finally breathe after out chat as I know we’re in safe hands … and have more direction”

Makeup and Hair Dept are a thriving business offering products and training to professionals within the TV, movie and stage industry. They had an idea for a new product line they want to launch and needed help.

Upon initial consultation it became apparent to us that to maximise the impact of the new product we would be better first focussing on improving the current business model. An archaic and un-editable website was removed and replaced with something more sustainable and user friendly. Clear brand guidelines were created and implemented across the business and in-store and online POS were updated to streamline work load.

A new lease of life was brought into the business as they work towards developing their new product with confidence knowing their base is more stable with reassurance and guidance available.

“I knew I had to make changes; I just didn’t know where to start. Having someone reassure me I was making the right decisions is exactly what I needed.”

RNG Games was looking to convert their physical store to online retail. While removing a physical premises seems like it would take a massive slice off of your plate, entering the dog-eat-dog world of online commerce comes with its own set of challenges.

Through brand analysis and competitor research we worked together to create an online space that would continue to support their existent customer base and provide features absent in their primary online competitors. We devised systems that streamlined internal processes to allow the evolving business to grow rapidly in its new environment and enable management to focus on the parts of the business that brought them satisfaction and spend minimal mental energy stressing about the minutia.

LET’S DANCE SCOTLAND

“I had a website that I hated and was generating no business. It was so refreshing to meet someone who spoke in simple terms and seemed to have my businesses best interest in mind”

Let’s Dance Scotland is a family run business who are enthusiastic about spreading their passion for dance and making sure their customers can get the best dancewear to fit their needs.

Previously they had been working with 3rd party web developers who had left them with a website that did not align with their brand and offered no opportunity to edit the site without paying more fees. After a short consultation we explored multiple ecommerce options and worked together to implement a product that would enable their team and better serve their customers accompanied by Digital Marketing Coaching. This has led to improved SEOs, increased online transactions and allowed the team to be more self sufficient in conducting online marketing.
