WHO AM I ?

Throughout my life I have worn many hats, and I think that’s what has made me feel so at home working in small business settings.

I have been a punk rocker, an apprentice, an events organiser, a retail worker, an engineer, a teacher, an online shopping channel host, a manager, a coordinator, a developer the list goes on and I have relished every moment of each. Always believing every opportunity taken is a key learning experiencing moving one step closer to answering a question I haven’t been asked yet.

I received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow but never really took much satisfaction in the development of products and code; I wanted to develop people and help them succeed! So I went back and completed a post graduate in Education to commence a vocation in teaching. While there was much satisfaction to be gained in the vocation of scaffolding the development of young minds, my joy was always mired by the ones who were not enthused about being helped and the bureaucracy which prevented me from helping the ones that did.

During my time studying and my early professional career I had been establishing a handful of small businesses as ‘side hustles’ - a handful of online and physical retail stores and a cafe. Realising how well I had been doing with my own projects, coupled with my love for helping others grow and succeed, I felt like my new vocation had presented itself. I have now dedicated myself to helping other entrepreneurs achieve the success and do what they love!

I have always found someone with a passion to the most intoxicating thing; and revel in listening to people talk about what brings them joy. My pedagogical training has prepared as a coach and educator; my own experiences have made me empathetic to the trials of small business owning; and my drive to be consistently challenged has ensured I’m ready to adapt to every challenge and field my next client throws at me.

I have helped dozens of clients realign their goals for their businesses, become purpose-led, and collaboratively build systems and structures that leave them feeling confident to proceed once my input is over. I have worked with clients for 3 weeks or up to 3 years, whatever is required to achieve the goal.

My experience and expertise has always lay in retail and hospitality and helping entrepreneurs adapt to the digital world - helping develop websites, webstores and online campaigns.

While my personal interests make me an expert in music, collectables, geeky paraphernalia and themed cafes; I have aided passionate business owners in fields from Make-Up manufacturing to Alternate Streetwear and from Custom-Built Instruments to Dance Studios.
